Privacy
Pickly is built to need as little of your data as possible. Here’s the short version, with the long version below.
The short version
- No accounts. No signup. No email.
- Your saved lists, wheels, rosters, and preferences stay in your browser’s localStorage and never leave your device.
- We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and cannot identify you.
- No advertising, no third-party trackers, no social-media pixels.
What stays on your device
Anything you create on Pickly — your saved wheels, name lists, rosters, custom meals, theme preference — is stored in your browser’s localStorage. It is bound to your browser on your device, and we never see it. Clearing your browser storage clears it; using a different browser or device gives you a fresh slate.
What we collect
Vercel Web Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and understand which tools people use most. It does not set cookies, does not track you across sites, and we cannot identify individual visitors. It records aggregated information: page URL, country (derived from IP, then discarded), device type, browser, and the referring page.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) logs standard request data — IP address, user agent, request URL, timestamp — for short-term security and operational purposes. See Vercel’s privacy policy for details.
What we don’t use
- No cookies. (Your dark/light theme preference is stored via localStorage, not a cookie.)
- No third-party advertising.
- No social-media trackers or pixels.
- No browser fingerprinting.
- No selling, sharing, or renting any data to anyone.
Your rights
Because we don’t collect personally identifiable information, there’s typically no personal data on our side to access, correct, or delete. To clear everything we know about your visits, clear your browser storage for this site.
Changes
If we update this notice, we’ll change the date below. Material changes will be noted on the home page.
